Handheld fluorometer for measuring in suspensions with integrated GPS module, USB/Bluetooth communication and dedicated software. Measured parameters: Ft, QY, OJIP, NPQ, LC. The “P“ version uses a submersible measuring probe.
It is equipped with a single blue LED emitter (optionally red or white), optically filtered and precisely focused to deliver light intensities of up to 3000 µmol(photon) m-2 s-1 to measured algal cultures.
The measurements are carried out by a submersible optical probe. The AquaPen-P excels in a high sensitivity – up to 0.5 µg Chl/l. Thus, it can measure even natural water samples containing low concentrations of phytoplankton. It can be used for both lab and field applications.
Data transfer is via USB or Bluetooth communication. Comprehensive FluorPen 1.0 software provides data transfer routines and many additional features for data presentation in tables and graphs. Parameters recorded by the AquaPen-P include FT, QY, NPQ, OJIP Analysis, and Light Curve.
