ICT International will be conducting workshops globally throughout 2017 which will be focused on plant water use monitoring and the applications to either commercial crop production or pure research science.
The SFM1 Sap Flow Meter, HFD8 Multipoint Radial Profiling Sap Flow Meter, PSY1 Stem Psychrometer for measuring non-destructive plant water potential and ICT International wireless systems for Precision Agriculture & Horticulture will be discussed. The workshops will focus on the practical application with hands on training in installation, data collection & interpretation.
Subject to interest, there will be discussion of ROI (return on investment) for adoption of this technology in irrigation decision making & horticultural production. Commercial applications that will be discussed include: citrus, grapes, almonds, macadamia & nursery management. These will be case studies of actual outcomes of deployment in commercial production systems.
In depth training of SFM1, HFD8 & PSY1 methods in regard to scientific experimentation will be undertaken in the scientific workshops.
The workshops are targeted to research scientists or commercial producers. ICT can and does offer “in house” or “on-site” workshops for corporate agribusiness by arrangement.
